One of the colleges in Utah which provides training to students for a greater chance at employment is the Mountainland Applied Technology College. Technical education also empowers women to be able to become competitive in industries that are traditionally dominated by male in terms of employment.

Breast cancer took my mother and my aunt. Other cancers took their mother and all of her brothers and sisters. I am thrilled that this new technique for detecting rogue cancer cells during surgery has been developed. I just wish it had been developed earlier.

As my siblings and I face an uncertain future under the shadow of cancer, programs like this offer to light our way out. As Shakespeare said, "Thanks, thanks, and ever thanks."

It is shocking to read what Dr.Palitha Kohona had to tell the Utah Valley University audience on the 1st November. He should be a ashamed of himself to have conveyed such a 'blatant lies' about the whole things the government of Srilanka has done after the war ended in May 2009. The GoSL had failed to reconcile and to help the war victims. The war wound is yet to heal, but there is this 'lack of will' on the part of the government to progress or to 'look ahead to win peace' by settling the Tamil political question which had been the root cause of this conflict since 1948, (post independence from British). So far 'No such thing as' reconciliation has happened. In fact abusive practice with the retention of PTA anti-terrorism legislation on Tamils are continued to persecute. On the same day at the UNHRC- UP Review, the minister had to lie as well, to cover up all the Misdemeanour carried out by armed forces and a blind eye shown by politicians and government officials. 99 countries lined up to reprimand the government of Srilanka on that day.
The Associate Vice president for International Affairs and Diplomacy Rusty Buller gave a glowing introduction of Dr.Palitha Kohona(P.K). I do not wish to contradict. But Dr.P. K. while holding the position as Secretary to the ministry of Foreign affairs, just before being send to UN posting in New York,he committed an unspeakable blunder, on negotiating the "White flag surrender". He assured UN and instructed the surrender's to come out towards the Srilankan Army with a White flag, while they did as he had instructed the Army murdered these men 300 of them by shooting. He was soon sent to UN office for safety, the use of 'impunity' to protect him against the crimes colluded with GoSL against humanity.
His story on terrorism was to mask the state terrorism since 1956 on the largest Tamil minority group. A calculated structural genocide was conducted by successive Srilankan governments, ample evidence on record.
