In April, Utah Valley University theater major Ben Henderson made history, becoming the first UVU student to win an award — three, actually — at the national Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Washington, D.C.
Commencement exercises begin at 6:30 p.m. in the UCCU Center on UVU’s Orem Campus. The university’s eight individual college and school convocations will be held across campus on Friday, May 2.

The UVU Dance Team recently returned from the NCA/NDA Collegiate Championship in Daytota Beach, Fla., with gold — beating out 25 other schools to win a national title.
