The Orem Owlz, affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Angels, announced that they have extended their lease of Brent Brown Ballpark at Utah Valley University.

UVU has been the home of the Owlz since 2005 and will remain their home until at least 2023. With Brent Brown Ballpark praised as one of the most attractive venues in all of professional baseball, the Owlz are excited to continue their relationship with the University and the valley’s vibrant surrounding community.

“From of the outset of our move into Orem, I have always strived to make the Owlz an integral and permanent part of the Utah Valley community,” says Jeff Katofsky, majority owner of the Owlz. “The Owlz and UVU have worked together for a long period of time to build this relationship, and we are thrilled to be able to call UVU’s baseball stadium our home venue for another decade.”

“The Owlz have been a great asset to the community. We are excited to continue our relationship with them and the Angels organization,” said Val Peterson, UVU’s vice president for finance and administration. “The community enjoys the opportunity to have minor league baseball as one of their many entertainment options, and UVU is happy we can be responsive to the community.”

The lease has been approved by both the Pioneer League and Minor League Baseball and is now in full effect.
