UVU To Hold Recruitment Open Houses For Qualified Part-Time Faculty

Utah Valley University is hiring. The University will hold public open houses on April 2 in Orem and April 9 in Sandy, Utah, for qualified prospective part-time faculty in a range of disciplines, including but not limited to real estate law, health care law, intellectual property and cyber law, speech communication, public relations, rhetoric and composition, Portuguese and Chinese.

“Part-time faculty members are critical to the success of the teaching mission at UVU,” said Ian Wilson, vice president for academic affairs.

UVU is hiring part-time faculty for the 2013-2014 academic year beginning fall semester 2013. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in the subject matter or a closely related area and one year of teaching or closely related professional experience.

The April 2 Orem open house will be on UVU’s Orem campus at the Alumni Center, room 109, located at 519 W. 1200 South, from 4 to 8 p.m. The April 9 Sandy open house will be at the Hyatt House, 9685 S. Monroe Street, Sandy, Utah, from 4 to 8 p.m.
