Mark Wiesenberg Tapped As UVU’s Associate Vice President For Human Resources

Utah Valley University is pleased to announce that Mark Wiesenberg has been selected to fill the position of associate vice president of human resources. Wiesenberg has served as a director and manager in the University’s human resources and organizational development department since 2003.
“Mark’s experience in human resources and working across the institution will provide for a strong service-based organization,” said Val Peterson, UVU vice president for finance and administration. “We look forward to working with Mark in moving the institution forward as we meet the educational goals of our region.”

Wiesenberg holds a master of public administration degree and a bachelor’s degree in mass communications/public relations from the University of Utah.

Prior to Wiesenberg, Ron Price was the associate vice president for human resources. Mike Francis, associate vice president for finance and GRAMA, served as interim associate vice president for human resources for the last six month and was chairman of the search committee.

Wiesenberg officially assumed the duties of the position Jan. 3.
