Utah Valley University’s collegiate champion Ballroom Dance Company will perform four winter concerts Nov. 29-Dec. 1 with each of the company’s four teams performing new and exciting choreography with a holiday theme.

UVU’s ballroom dancers achieved national prominence in 2010 by winning the collegiate competition on “Dancing With The Stars.” The Company, now under the direction of Paul Winkelman, will impress audiences with its energy and precision, continuing the legacy of excellence that put UVU ballroom dancers on the international map.

“The company will perform a wide variety of dances, including the Waltz, Cha Cha, West Coast Swing, and much more,” said Chris Witt, the Ballroom Dance program coordinator.

The three evening concerts Nov. 29-Dec. 1 will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragan Theater of the Sorensen Student Center. A special matinee performance will be presented Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. at the same venue. For tickets visit the UVU School of the Arts box office in the Noorda Theatre, Campus Connection in the Sorensen Student Center or order by phone at 801-863-PLAY. Tickets will also be available at the door.
