Twice a year, Utah Valley University’s distinctive Hall of Flags plays host to the Service Fair presented by the University’s Volunteer & Service-Learning Center. The event features anywhere from 30 to 40 local groups and non-profit organizations that are seeking volunteers to work in their organizations, and thus, presenting UVU students with opportunities to use their diverse set of skills and talents to benefit the larger community.

This year’s fall semester Service Fair will be held on Sept. 15-16.

“The service fair provides wonderful opportunities for UVU students to directly demonstrate their willingness to engage with the community in uplifting ways,” said Matthew Chambers, community outreach coordinator for the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center.

The fair is still accepting community partners to offer volunteer opportunities to the UVU student body. To reserve a spot for your organization, please send an e-mail to outreach@uvu.edu or contact Matthew Chambers at (801) 863-6063.

Please RSVP no later than Friday, Aug. 27. Tables will be available for set up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while the fair itself will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., both days.
